High School Choice and Stats for Reporters

For those following the high school choice situation here, big news. My daughter was chosen in the lottery to attend Small High School if she wishes. She can also go to big high school.

My daughter will now shadow a student at the SHS. Also, many of her friends got in.

Tomorrow I fly to LA to teach statistics to education reporters. Actually I'm helping teach study design. I am thrilled and scared. My partner is a big, smart research wonk. I hope I can hold my own.
